On the floor in the left hand corner, Patrick (Werewolf) Firefigher and body builder from Cookeville, he is the up and coming stud at Wolf Lodge #32.
On the left hand couch: Jack Taylor and his wife Janie Butcher Taylor (Werewolves)  Janie is daughter to Carl and Clarice Butcher and Jack is her new husband.  They are both high school seniors and are expecting twins.  Jack will be moving into the Butcher Farmstead and transfering schools.  They plan on taking over the farm.
Luke Whitson (Vampire)  Luke is a vampire posing as a shapeshifter, living in the Butcher werewolf clan's basement.  He has been thier protector for years, but that may all change in 2007 when he starts dating witch Millia Forrest.
Marcus Whitson (Vampire)  Luke's cousin in the blood, they were raised together in France before the Cavalier period.
Steven (Silvanus):  (Vampire)  Born during the Roman period, he favors his daughter over his sons and causes Luke many a headache.  He is constantly pressuring Luke to go back into politics and leave Tennessee.
Marie (Vampire)  Luke's sister, she desparately wants to kill Luke's love interest so that he will come back home to France and marry her.  She wants to adopt children and continue the vampire bloodlines.
James Butcher:  (Werewolf)  A total geek, James is a college student in Cookeville who comes home for the weekends.  When he meets Marie, he falls head over heels in love with her, not knowing she is five hundred years older than himself.  He has no interest in clan politics or the farm and plans to be an engineer.
Clarice Butcher: (Werewolf)  Alpha female of the Butcher Clan, she is anxious to get Luke out of her basement and have the farm all to herself.
Carl Butcher (Werewolf) Aging Alpha male of the Butcher Clan, he is the only one who know's Luke's true nature.  Best friend to Luke and all around great guy.
Strega Anna Shipiro (Green Witch)  Anna has recently lost her drivers license due to old age and is making Millia drive her everywhere.  A wise woman and midwife/healer, all of her talents lay in plant and garden magic.  A devout Italian Catholic, she is often called "Nana" (grandmother).

On the floor, starting on the coffee table:
Methuselah Bryant, called "Meth":  (Telekenetic Witch)  Highest ranking witch in the "Secret City" of Oak Ridge, Meth is witch royalty, breed for longevity and power.  He is over a century old, though he looks young.  He is covered in offensive and defensive tatoo work, each one for a particular spell.
Millia Forrest (Sight Witch)  Millia is an art teacher by day, midwife's apprentice by night.  Raised away from her own kind, she is thrust into a hidden world of genetic Witches, vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and other supernatural creatures and is having a difficult time balancing the real world with...the real world.  She is also a Goddess worshipper.
Brigit (Sight Witch)  Witch Army operative, she has come off a mission gone bad in South America and has been assigned to Millia Forrest to train her in how to use the sight properly.  She suffers from PTSD and tends to be trigger happy.
Bethany Butcher: (Werewolf) A Butcher cousin, she is a Tennessee State Trooper and helps keep "strange incidents" from ever being property reported.

Sophie and Samson:  Black Labradors, Millia's pets and soon to be familiars.  Sophie is the smart one, while Samson is the dumb one who worries that Sophie is really a moose.
