Meteorite for Ryan

A few nights ago while driving home from town, I saw a meteorite crash to the earth about two cow fields away from the road. I was so stunned and shocked, I didn't think to get my camera out. Didn't think about collecting the sucker either. The biggest concern was "OH crap.. I just about drove off the road!"

So I was telling Ryan about it in #squareone chat and he just about wigged. A total science geek, Ryan has created and written Reasoned Cognition, a comic explaining science. He just about has me convinced I need to go back and find the rock to donate it to science.. or him.

I've heard these things can be worth something, and this one was a good size... or at least it looked like it to me. I dont know if I will go search for it though... trespassing in Tennessee is about the stupidest idea you can come up with. Just about as dumb as insulting someone's trailer park mama. Both will get your ass full of lead.
