Well guys...this is for that one fan of mine who keeps asking what I look like.

And you know who you are :P

This is me before I was injured. This is how I remember myself, so don't even go asking for current pictures of me now. I plan to get near this size by summer so I can go to the Comic Genesis cookout and not look like a total lard ass. Yes, I do model Millia off the old me. Does make her easier to draw :)

I also plan on doing a dealer's table at DragonCon! Should be lots of fun!

So if you are wanting signed prints, original drawings and other fun-fun things, you will have to look me up at Dragoncon! I hope to have a t-shirt for AGD made up soon so at least I can wear it to the cons I'm going to and it will be available at Cafepress soon.

Fan Poetry!

Nothing makes me happier than when a reader sends me something...a piece of fan art...a kind letter...but this week I got this in my email. Wow! Poetry! So I asked him if I could put it up on the website and he said I could. So for everyone's enjoyment, here is "My Own" by "Tiny"


Raven wings, on severed strings, a puppet for the play
Love hath lied, death denied, all hope has gone astray.
Days of old, nights come cold, into thy setting sun
Seasons change, hope out of range, a tear will slowly run.

The moon shall wane, a solemn bane, my eyes shall softly drop
Movements fast, avoid my past, this song is sure to stop.
When it starts, to pause thine heart, surely you shall fall
More than a man, the animals stand, they have heard my mournful call.

Could it be, the beast she sees, the innocence lost in sin
A thing so cold, her loves untold, and what they could've been.

Beast of Eden...werewolf comics for your enjoyment!

Beast of Eden I just stumbled across this today...the creator of Beast of Eden is the person who recommended AGD to The Werewolf Cafe forum website.

So what do I do? click...click...click... Curiosity killed the cat...I mean...Curiosity bit the vampire and so I found Beast of Eden...and dang if it ain't cute.

So friends, if you have some time..wander over to Beast of Eden and have a good giggle. It brightened my evening!

AGD in the News!

American Gothic Daily will be showing up in two newsletters this upcoming month and I am very excited!

First, I have interviewed with Christopher Blackwell of the Alternative Religions Educational Network (known as AREN), a national level Pagan and Wiccan organization. AGD will be featured in their next newsletter, which may be found here come Imbolc.

Secondly, I have started a small gag-a-day style comic strip for Graveyard Press, a Vampire Nation newsletter. It is called "Everyday Vampires" and is tailored to the Sang/Psy community. It will be in their sent newsletter and as soon as I get a copy, I will share it here. Already AGD is tooncasted to their online newspaper "comics" page.

If you would like more info about the Vampire Nation, I suggest getting on their yahoogroup. From there, you can introduce yourself to the community and get involved. They are very lovely people.

Vampire Survey

If you're a Real vampire-- either Sang or Psi (and if you are a real vamp, you'll know what I'm talking about :^) Please take some time to fill out the Vampire Survey!

It is being done by the Atlanta Vampire Alliance, one of the largest vampire groups within/without the Vampire Nation. I can say that it is very well done and is not flakey..as is so many things within the vamp community.

Just to kinda make it up to Dave for ...well...just what am I making up to Dave for? He's the one who drew the CakeFucker picture in the first place...I can't help it that his knife embarasses him...

The rest of my birthday was pleasant enough. My father called me wanting to know if I got his birthday card in the mail (answer: no. Late again doofus.). Considering that I haven't seen my father for several years, it was nice that he called though. Dinner with my significant other was o.k. then I came home and had tons on fun in chat ...it was fun cause I was sitting up half asleep in my favorite chair. When you are half asleep, chatroom antics are even more funny than usual.

Yesterday was "Professional Development"...which translates to "doodle time". I'll be uploading them soon-- some of it is fan art for others and I will provide links. The other two images were nudes...which totally made my gay friend blush. I'll up load them too, probably at deviant art.

My first present: A cake fucker

My very first present for my birthday was some art from a very dear friend named DaveAgainstTheMachine.

He meant to show me stabbing him with a knife, but as you can see....well...it turned out pretty naughty looking.
